Most hummed song of the moment

Everytime there is a music release of a film, I tend to download them at the latest. Well there are many reasons- first-To see if any of my favorite singers have sung the song and second-As im a person who thinks "lyrics make the song and music gives life to it", I enjoy listening to adorable lyrics. As a consequence, i cant stop humming any good song I stop to listen. In tat case, each song stays on my mind for a considerable period and I wait to watch it on screen. 

Lately I heard "Un Perai Sollum Podhe" song from Angadi Theru movie(Tamil) sung by Naresh Iyer and Shreya Goshal. The pair has once again rocked after Munbe Vaa song which happened to be the BOX OFFICE HIT.

The controversial website that crashed recently

Walmart Stores is an American corporation which has many departmental stores chained to it throughout the country. Two Americans Andrew and Adam in their 20s are regular customers of WalMart where they seemed to notice many awkwardly/funnily dressed people. This is what their website is all about.

Very soon the site became popular with many people who started digging the articles and pictures. Facebook and Twitter also carried similiar mocks posted by the users which made the site gain heavy traffic. As a consequence, the site's threshold of traffic reached leaving their servers crashed on wednesday.

The owners of this contraversial website says that though it is basically mocking they have their own standards for it. They dont tease people with mental disabilities or people who are just fat but its about people who make themselves laughable by the way they dress (You can call it attention seeking too). Still this answer does not seem to be convince many. 

On the other hand the majority seem to enjoy this by giving 500,000 views per day and this has increased to 1.2 million views when a user has posted it on facebook. The site could not afford to bear this heavy traffic and their server has crashed.

"American culture likes to single out people who appear to be different," said Tim Marema, vice president of the Whitesburg, Kentucky-based Center for Rural Strategies. "Whether it's a joke or not, all depends on which side of the camera you're on."

Susan's debut in Britain's got Talent show

Susan Boyle was an ordinary person till she participated in "Britain's Got Talent".

When she first appeared on stage neither the audience nor the judges seemed to expect the amazing performance of Susan because of her appearance.

Susan Boyle became an overnight celebrity when she sang "I dreamed a dream" from Les Miserables. The extraordinary performance left the audience and judges spellbound as a resut of which it had created a sensation world wide. Her debut has been viewed in youtube over a few million times which has set a record.

Amanda Holden( one of the judges) reported that her performance was the "biggest wake up call ever" and Simon Cowel (judge) is setting a contract with Boyle with his company.

8000 girls ascend the heavenly mountain

China's black history comes to light through the film "8000 girls ascend the heavenly mountain" which is under shooting in Beijing right now. I was taken back when I happened to read this article in The Times of India. 

Here is what I read in the newspaper:

In the period of 1949-54 China promised thousands of Chinese women aged between 13 to 19 that they will be given proper education and training. As a result of which the women were sent to remote far west where they were forced to marry the soldiers who were sent to colonise the Muslim region. The sad story of thousands of women (some of them have even committed suicide) who were cheated and were forced to marry is on the verge to be known by the outside world. 

Xiao Yequn who was 15 at the time was threatened with a loaded pistol when she refused to marry a 26 year old commissar. (as said by The Times of India). People of China are looking forward for this movie which is to be screened this fall.Thanks to Lu Yiping for his effort in  making this film which would be a tribute for all the deceived souls of China.

Car morphing

I happened to watch discovery channel last night though I forgot the name of the program(I wish I remember) which showed how cars in future would behave. Ammmazing!! Cars could morph themselves to various shapes according to the speed, location and various other factors.

You dont have to anymore think a lot whether to get a small car or a huge one. Get a car which would shape itself according to the surrounding.. How cool is that..

All this is possible with Nano technology which gives cars the ablity to think and act. It wouldnt be surprising if a car is released that could drive and take you to the desired destination all by itself,,lol actually this is under research.

People dont have to actually sit and drive anymore.

And this car morphing thing is done in BMW which was telecasted in the show. And the car name is BMW GINA. So you dont have to worry about the parking space here after. Adjust your car shape according to the available space instead of searching for a space where your car would fit in :D

And another car which is not only shaped like a jet but can go at a speed of 800 miles/hour.:O
